Ohio High School Tour
Research teams gather
samples of creek water, plant matter, and their own epithelial
cells. They examine these and prepared slides under a
microscope. They sketch what they observe and consult sources to
identify the cell types they see. Students are challenged to
think about where cells come from and how scientists trace cells
back to their origins in single-celled organisms. |
